Jammer developed by BAE Systems FAST R&D team

Washington-BAE Systems has received R&D funding from the US Army for the development of advanced radar frequency jammer technology. The technology aims to improve the air survivability and mission efficiency of the US Army rotary wing aircraft and unmanned aerial system (UAS) by detecting and overcoming complex and unknown threats in electronic warfare.

According to the contract, the R&D team of BAE Systems FAST Labs will develop technologies that allow adaptive radio frequency interference and detection functions to be integrated into the system. Although today's electronic countermeasure systems are too large and cumbersome for most rotating blades and UAS platforms, the BAE Systems technology combines multiple software programmable antennas into a digital phased array that can perform simultaneous functions , Better than the existing functions, while increasing the size and weight and reducing the performance of the current system (SWaP). The technology will enable these platforms to safely fly close to threatened and disputed areas while remaining protected.

British OpenWorks sells a shoulder cannon that can launch a net to intercept drones. Sydney-based DroneShield provides a large pistol-shaped drone signal jammer that, once triggered, will force the drone to land or fall from the sky. San Francisco-based Dedrone created a mesh network that listened to and identified drones based on how they "talked" to operators by intercepting the signal and inputting that information into the complementary jamming developed by Battelle in Columbus, Ohio System.

Fortem Technologies uses special radars to detect drones-and connect them to larger, faster drones. Timothy Bean, CEO of Pleasant Grove, based in Utah, said that the company's DroneHunter can track targets "like a dog on a leash," thereby capturing them.

A "radio wave jammer" is a device that blocks radio waves from mobile phones and Wi-Fi to temporarily turn them off. In some theaters and halls, the device can be installed with a license from a wireless site to prevent the use of mobile phones and WiFi. Let's take a closer look at the "wifi signal jammer", which can be called an extended form and can only disconnect the target router.
